-If money is an issue, they can be done incrementally. However web areas should be prioritized, such as bathrooms and kitchens with a minimum of waterproofing finishes (floors, then walls) to avoid creating an environment for growing mold.

-Prioritize partitions made out of plaster brick, to avoid spending too much when patching the walls.

Exterior finishes should be the last on your list.

-Raw ceramic brick structures can handle the weather for sometime before causing any issues. However, finishing the exterior walls is essential for a healthy indoor environment on the long run.

​

-Exterior finishes can be avoided if an investment is made on the type of structural masonry that is chosen. Materials such as concrete blocks and eco bricks can skip exterior finishes due to its material properties.
